ATTN High School Athletics: Summer mailing & Info for 22-23

Dear High School Parents and Student Athletes:

The 2022 spring season ended with a flurry of tournament excitement and State Championship appearances. Let’s continue this fall … right where we left off this June!

Please take a few moments to review the enclosed materials.

Online registration and online forms can be found on our AthleticWebsite. They need to be completed each new school year. Across the top banner, click on “REGISTRATION & FORMS”. Once you have created an account as a “New User”, the information you enter only needs to be updated if there are changes.

The 2021-2022 information will not be cleared from the system until June 30th. Parents can begin to register their student athletes for the 2022-2023 school year beginning Friday, July 1st.

Please register your son/daughter for each of the 3 seasons even if you are unsure they will be participating. It is easier to remove and change an entry than to add or re-register at a later date.

1) Register as a New User to create the parent login and a family account

2) Acknowledge and confirm the email that will be sent to you

3) Register your student(s)

  - Enter emergency and medical information
  - Upload the Student Physical & Athletic Exam Form (9th & 11th)
(Forms can be mailed, emailed, returned to main office, or bring to 1st practice)
  - Review athletic forms
  - Select athletic activities (3 seasons worth)
  - ImPACT and concussion sign-off
  - Just click the boxes and hit submit

This section includes your acknowledgement that you have read and understand the contents of both the Athletic Handbook and Parent Coach Communication Guide - and that you have reviewed both of these documents with your son/daughter. It is an expectation that students and parents be familiar with the contents of these two documents.

There are Tutorial Videos and a Parent Tutorial available on the registration page, both may be of help to you. The videos depict another high school, but the process is the same!

2.) ATHLETIC WEBSITE:             -

The Athletic Website continues to be the most accurate place to get schedule information. Bookmark NOW!

Also available on the website:

  - coaches directory & contact information

  - athletic handbook & all necessary forms

  - athletic news, announcements & important dates

  - separate tab with information for parents

  - list of sports teams offered

  - directions to opponent’s athletic facilities

  - parent coach communication guide

Sign up for NOTIFY ME. Across the top banner to the right, click on Notify Me! This is different from the E-Mail Notices and announcements that you receive from the school’s main office. This is an Athletic Notification specifically for athletic cancellations, postponements & make up notices - these will automatically be generated and sent to your email/text directly from the athletic website. Currently, email notices seem to be the most reader friendly and provide much clearer information.

The Athletic Website comes with a Mobile App and can be synced to your personal calendars. See "Get the Mobile App" button in the right hand column.

3.) PRESEASON PARENT INFORMATION NIGHT:

Thursday, August 11th - 6:00-7:00 PM - FPAC                 Mark it on your Calendar Now!

These nights are specifically designed for parents. It is essential that parents attend. This will be an opportunity for you to have your questions answered, meet the coaching staff, and hear directly from them regarding team/parent expectations. For parents, this is your opportunity to become an active participant in your child’s high school education. This is also an opportunity for parents and individual Sport Booster groups to meet, organize and make final arrangements for Homecoming and other booster events.

4.) FALL PRESEASON PRACTICES:

All sports and teams are currently scheduled to begin on Monday, August 15th

Visit the athletic website for specific sport, dates, times, and location.
