Spectator/Fans Guidelines for Freeport Athletics.
-For everyone’s safety, spectators are expected to stay outside the fence, and off the track, and any/all playing surfaces at all times. Do not rush the field after a game!
-Placards, signs and pennants that restrict the view of other spectators are prohibited. Signs or banners may be attached to the facility walls or other designated places provided that their content is not obscene or inappropriate and does not contain profane language or derogatory comments towards others. The parading of banners on or around the playing area or in the stands is prohibited.
In Addition, and Specific to Freeport High School
We ask that all fans and spectators not to stand up against the railing in the walkway of the bleachers. The walkways of the bleachers need to always remain clear. Everyone needs to be able to freely enter or exit the bleachers without fear of being bumped into or knocked over.
We ask that fans and spectators that attend to be wearing appropriate clothing, no bare chest is allowed.
No swearing, no calling out opposing players for any reason.
We ask that fans and spectators be respectful to the team, opposing team, officials and the opposing spectators.
Have fun, cheer for your team, but remember to always be respectful no matter what the outcome is!
Students and spectators who violate these Freeport High School and WMC Spectator Guidelines and Rules will be removed from the facility and may lose the privilege of attending future games. These Guidelines and Rules are in effect at Freeport High School and ALL WMC outdoor and indoor athletic facilities.
