SOUTHERN MAINE

Effective August 28, 2023:

ALL visitors to the USM Gorham campus, including spectators, opposing teams and game officials of USM Athletics events will be charged through a new digital parking system. Please visit the USM Parking Services site for additional details: https://usm.maine.edu/parking-services/

Costs are: Gorham campus: $1/hour. Bus/Trailer $2/hour
Gorham campus —after 3 pm, visitors and guests may park in any lot except G7, G10, G11. Restrictions do apply. All visitors must read the rules of each lot to ensure you can use the lot. Link to campus map in Gorham:

Visitors Must Use A Mobile Device To Pay For Parking
Visitors must begin the digital parking session within 10 minutes of parking your vehicle/arrival to campus. To begin your digital parking session, use your mobile device to scan the QR code signage posted in your parking lot. This QR code will connect you to USM’s digital parking system. You can then select your parking session duration and make the payment using the available payment options. Once the payment is processed, the parking session will be activated.

Pre-arrival parking payment is available through the online system and through the app. This is not reserved parking. Download for Android | Download for IOS

Entering your license plate information

Personalized Plates: When you register your vehicle you must omit non-alphanumeric and special characters.
For example, if your plate read “A B C — 123”. Enter “ ABC123”. Examples of characters to omit include spaces, dots, dashes, hearts, stars, handprints,.and snoopy. Vehicles without License Plates: Vehicles without a license plate must register their temporary license plate. Once you receive your vehicle’s permanent license plate you must update your account via the parking app or web access,
